Originally from Ireland I have lived in Boston, MA since I was 6 years old.
I have had a passion for animals my whole life and I feel very fortunate for the opportunity to work with them in my daily life at Kat’s Dog Walking.
During my four years of high school I worked as a volunteer at the South Boston Animal Clinic in South Boston, MA. This experience gave me a wonderful knowledge of animals and taught me crucial skills in animal behaviour and first aid. I then studied at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and received a degree in Sociology.
In 2005 I combined the two things that I love best, working with animals and owning my own business. Kat’s Dog Walking has afforded me the pleasure of working with some very wonderful people and their precious animals. I now provide Dog walking, Play Groups for Dogs, Cats and Small Pet visits, Pet Medication Administration and Complimentary work.
I love what I do and I hope to continue my work for a very long time.

Hi Kat,
I am interested in dog walking for a one time event. My sister is getting married on Saturday Aug. 15 and my parent’s two West Highland Terriers will be staying at my apartment in Beacon Hill/West End. They are easy going and very well behaved but one of them needs to go out every 4-6 hours. The wedding schedule calls for a long day so I would like to have them go for a walk in the afternoon or early evening if your schedule permits. Please let me know if you think you can accommodate and what you might need from me.
Thank you,

Hello!
We currently live in downtown crossing, but we just bought a place in the Fort Point/Seaport area and unfortunately our dog current walker does not walk there, so we are on the hunt for a new one! We have a black pug named Bogie that typically gets walks at least twice a week. Right now we do Tuesdays and Thursdays and that seems to work well.
We are targeting an Oct 24th move, so we would like to get a new walker in place before then. Our new address will be 21 Wormwood street. If you could please let me know if you have availability to add another cute pug to your client list, and if you walk in the Fort Point area, that would be great! If so, it would be great to set up time to speak/meet.

Cristhal
Hello,
My name is Cristhal and my little baby’s name is Garbanzo. She is 8 weeks old. I work full time and so does my boyfriend. We were thinking about getting a dog walker since her platter is so small and also to get her out of the house while we are at work.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hey Kat!
I am looking for a trustworthy daily dog walker for my 4 year old Border Collie Mix named Scratch. Ideally I would be able to build a schedule for each week that would include a mix of leashed walks and play groups while I am at work. Scratch is extremely smart, good with other dogs and is well behaved/trained. I will unfortunately be out of town this coming weekend but would like to meet with you on the weekend of the 14th-15th if you are available to discuss becoming Scratch’s new friend!
Best,
-Andrew

Hi Kat, we are in the middle of adopting a 7 year old lab. She’s due to arrive on January 21st and we are so excited.
My husband, works from home but does travel a lot and I work from 7-5pm. Long days. We would love to have a meeting with you once she arrives. Is that something you would normally do?
How does the walks work? Are there dedicated times? How far in advance would we need to let you know if we wanted to set up a walk?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, I live in South Boston and we just got a new shorkie puppy! She is currently 9 weeks and we are looking to set up a walk or playgroup for our pet during the day when we are both at work. It would be about 2-3 days/week. We are looking for the best option for our pup! Thanks!
